The AHB is a service of the Department of Education, Culture
and Environment Protection of the Canton of Grisons. The tasks of
the AHB are to coordinate the different research facilities and
the “Höhere Fachschulen” in the region. The consolidation
of research, education and teaching on a high level within the canton
was one of the goals of the government for 2005 - 2008. The offerings
for postgraduate studies and the local research activities as well
as their national and international networks are important factors
to enhance and attract more such institutions to the Grisons.
